Geocaching - click on the 'Geocaching Sessions' links on the right to see where a GeoCaching session took me. The maps are fully zoomable so you can see where I've actually been scrabbling around. (I think I made a couple of words up there)
What is Geocaching?
Geocaching is 21st century treasure hunting using a GPS. You go out and find stuff hidden by other people! The geocaching.com website puts it a bit more eloquently...
"Geocaching is a high-tech treasure hunting game played throughout the world by adventure seekers equipped with GPS devices. The basic idea is to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, outdoors and then share your experiences online. Geocaching is enjoyed by people from all age groups, with a strong sense of community and support for the environment."
Here's some of the caches in my local area (you can drag and zoom the map)
